Last Thursday, February 3, more than 100 athletes, including women and men, gathered at the Autonomous University Cross Country Sports Championship organized by the Universitat Jaume I on its university campus. The day was developed at a magnificent competitive level, in addition to being accompanied by ideal weather conditions for sports practice. The UMH was represented by 12 athletes.

Two tests were held, at 11:30 a.m. the women’s race, with a route of 6 km and at 12:15 p.m. the men’s race with a route of 8 km. The tests exclusively included the participation of university athletes, federated participation was not allowed as a result of the current health situation.

In the women’s category, highlight the ninth place of Paula Lizón with a great time of 22:47, and in the men’s category she also did a great job with 3 athletes among the first 15 runners: Esteban Ortuó (9th), Iván Andreas (12th) and Francisco Roselló (13th).
