The Healthy Campus and Sports Office of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) reports that it does not have its own specific accident or health insurance associated with the use of its facilities or participation in its sports activities.

Users who are not covered by school insurance and/or voluntary insurance must personally assume any incident, injury or expense resulting from accidents that occur during physical activity in the facilities or programs managed by the OCSD.

SCHOOL INSURANCE

Student insurance covers students under 28 years of age enrolled in official degree programs (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate) at UMH. Coverage is activated upon enrollment and payment of the corresponding fee.

VOLUNTARY INSURANCE

The UMH voluntary insurance is intended for:

• Students over 28 years old enrolled in official degrees .

• Students enrolled in UMH’s own degrees .

This insurance can be purchased during the registration process and offers basic coverage in case of accident or illness while participating in university activities.
