On Saturday June 2, members of the Greenwich Foundation GISED Alicante and carry out in the Club Nautico de Alicante Costa Blanca Diving the Second Day of Solidarity for the benefit of the Association for the Care of People with Intellectual Disabilities Villena and Shire (APADIS), Acquired Brain Injury Association (ADACEA) and the Home for children and adolescents with autism, mental health and behavioral disorders (EDUCATEA).

The main objective of this workshop is to raise funds for these charities by performing baptisms and other water sports underwater at popular prices. We also have the selfless contribution of public institutions, companies and individuals who, although not immersed, have wanted to collaborate with this new initiative and rewarding voluntary work.

To achieve this goal, divers and entities involved in the organization selflessly bring our human and material resources. We also have support from multiple public and private institutions in order that the development of this event a great success at the organizational level, participation, social impact, and why not, we invite you to enjoy a great holiday meeting with friends and family dive in the Club Nautico Alicante Costa Blanca, which has been converted into a tent for the event. There will be a beneficial rake area, gifts, good taps, beer and soft drinks provided by sponsors.

The development of the First Day of Solidarity Diving, held last September 14, 2011, was a resounding success at all levels and unprecedented. Therefore, we are encouraged to organize again this time by increasing the number of participants (90 divers) and activities such as baptisms, sailing, rowing and diving with sea lions.

Finally, we ask that you give the widest possible dissemination to the event. It’s the least we can do for these associations for the disabled, and of course we have enabled a row zero for those who can not attend but want to make their couple of euros (CAM 2090/3025/56/0200156154 – See conditions in the dossier) .
