In men\u2019s basketball, held in Granada, the UMH team delivered a strong performance by reaching the quarterfinals of the championship. After advancing through the early stages, the Elche-based team lost to the Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Catalu\u00f1a<\/span><\/span> (UPC) 45\u201335, narrowly missing out on the semifinals but showing a high competitive level throughout the tournament.<\/p>\n Women\u2019s handball also competed in Granada, where the UMH players were unable to progress past the group stage despite securing two important victories against the Universidad del Pa\u00eds Vasco<\/span><\/span> (EHU) and the Universidad de Granada<\/span><\/span> (UGR). The team demonstrated strong performance and once again proved its competitiveness in one of the most demanding disciplines of the championship.<\/p>\n In tennis, held in Seville, some of the best results of the week were achieved. The mixed doubles pair reached the quarterfinals, while in women\u2019s doubles Carmen and Mar\u00eda earned an excellent silver medal after losing in the final to the Universitat de Val\u00e8ncia<\/span><\/span> (UV).
