Miguel Esteve delivered an outstanding performance, winning the bronze medal in the men\u2019s singles event. In addition, teaming up with Ana Caballero, he also secured silver in mixed doubles, reinforcing his leading role in the tournament.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"2773\" data-end=\"3001\">The greatest success came in the team competition, where UMH was crowned Spanish champion, winning the gold medal after an excellent collective performance. The team was made up of Biel Mascar\u00f3, Ana Caballero, and Miguel Esteve.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" data-start=\"2773\" data-end=\"3001\"><a href=\"https:\/\/deportes.umh.es\/files\/2026\/04\/badminton.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-17942\" src=\"https:\/\/deportes.umh.es\/files\/2026\/04\/badminton-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"424\" height=\"239\" srcset=\"https:\/\/deportes.umh.es\/files\/2026\/04\/badminton-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/deportes.umh.es\/files\/2026\/04\/badminton.jpg 602w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 424px) 100vw, 424px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"3003\" data-end=\"3285\">Meanwhile, climbing, held in M\u00e1laga from Tuesday, April 14 to Thursday, April 16, also brought success to the university delegation. Manuel Antonio Pastor S\u00e1nchez reached the podium with a well-earned bronze medal, marking one of the standout results of the week in this discipline.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" data-start=\"3003\" data-end=\"3285\"><a href=\"https:\/\/deportes.umh.es\/files\/2026\/04\/escalada.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-17945\" src=\"https:\/\/deportes.umh.es\/files\/2026\/04\/escalada-300x223.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"412\" height=\"306\" srcset=\"https:\/\/deportes.umh.es\/files\/2026\/04\/escalada-300x223.jpg 300w, https:\/\/deportes.umh.es\/files\/2026\/04\/escalada.jpg 602w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 412px) 100vw, 412px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"3287\" data-end=\"3680\">In karate, which took place on Saturday, April 18 in Granada, UMH did not reach podium positions, although several noteworthy performances were recorded. Irene Lillo Jim\u00e9nez finished fifth in senior women\u2019s kumite (&gt;68 kg), while Jos\u00e9 Joaqu\u00edn Sempere also secured fifth place in senior men\u2019s kumite (&lt;84 kg).
